Feeling the Heat

Today was, in a word, bad. In more words, it's totally bad. In even more words, it sucked big time.

Of all days to "enter the superheated state" (read: have a fever), I fell sick on this day of two tests -- electronics test in the afternoon and thermodynamics test in the evening.

And it's not so much the heat that's bothering me, but the headache. Needless to say, I screwed up both tests. Now I'm just disappointed that my test results won't reflect me at my best. And I desperately needed the marks for thermodynamics, which frankly, is not my strong subject.

I guess words are useless now. All I can do now is to work even harder and hope for the best come exams, in two weeks' time.

On a positive note, today has reminded me to be humble. No one is infallible. Even the strongest person can be squashed flat just like a fly, by circumstances like these. *heaves a long sigh...

Gosh, so sorry to hear that.

Remember to keep paracetamol at hand the next time. Don't worry so much, things will work out fine.

Take care now.
