Sightings from the Near Future
This is my 101st post, jammers. Read not these words with your bare eyes, for these were not written with a mind of pure clarity. Instead, feel them, as you would your own heart; for words never do justice in transcribing the human mind...
Do I see myself stuck on a job that eats from the very morning of the day, and drags itself by the minutes into the very darkness; doing many things as told and required; yet, in reality, doing nothing much to please the soul, though the mind has gone pretty wearied. And how can the mind not weary; what with authority and discretion being hardly your own, what with the opera of politics being played at every corner, and every fiber of other beings seem hell-bent to applaud your next downfall.
Do I see myself, a man of science; talking not very much, with unfocussed eyes pondering the next breakthrough. All theories blur into almost the same after so long; but one thing remains, this brilliant mind heaven-sent is not to be wasted, for to be slaved and forcefully squeezed until its juice permeates the living soul of fundamental beings; beings so fundamental that they fail to see your sacrifice that you are bidding them; beings so simple that they fail to see the simplicity of the works of the world.
Or do I see myself in bed, doing nothing much the whole day, except lying down and allowing myself free reign of the carriage of creativity; hoping to strike gold with some great idea or philosophy or just a funny string of words that has not been used before in this face of the world; just a traveller dreaming his life away; fooling himself with narcissistic dreams that great thoughts will come to his head, but in reality there is none. For no string of words, in any order, has not been recycled from previous days of old; no author can fully claim credit for his brilliant mind, for in his formation years, he no doubt has collected influences from various people and sources; and mashed them up and recooked slightly in his own way, to be presented with his own name.
Do I see myself at all in one of these, or an amalgamation of all of these; a mixture so dynamic that cannot be defined by chemistry; yet, it is chemistry that will never lack, but as one reveals the passion in his eyes, his brains function with full gusto, and will gladly serve to do justice to his cause.

Whatever that you become in the near future, just live the best out of it. I think what matters most is whether we are proud and are happy with what we have. take care!
