Bad Debts

Must have been something on my mind, in my life sometime ago that now has gone to the wind. What started out as a joke has become a commitment somewhat. Now day-to-day conversations are peppered with cynicism, with dog-eat-dog cruelty and side meanings.

It's not that my friends are like that. They're the nicest people on earth. But it's a certain few who regard themselves as part of our group and eavesdrop on my or our conversations, and ask irrelevant, irreverrent questions and make irrelevant, irreverrent comments at the wrong time and space. I've experienced these people before and --

I am sick of people pretending to be your friend, but instead are just keen on using you for their advantage at the next opportunity possible. I am sick of this guy.

I am tired of patronizing people who can't work as a team but instead like to boss people around. Sigh, and an expert boot-licker. I am sick of this girl.

But as fate would have it, somehow or another our lives revolve around the schedules we intertwine around each other so I end up having to tolerate these people. Which is all fine and good, except that I would be prefer to be spared the little speck of hate, disgust and disdain I have for this people in my heart.

The law of karma, of cause and effect, makes you pay for every deed you've done in the past, be they good or bad.

Perhaps, this is my way of relinquishing some bad debts.

They say love your enemies. They say treat others who treat you bad, even better. I say it's easier said that done. I say they should shut up and move back to Utopia. Ah, patience. I must keep my cool.

Well, I used to keep my enemy far, far away but the emotions has been eating me a lot.

Now I talk to her, and though deep down I still dislike her, I realised I'm not so edgy anymore.

Maybe we should all start letting go you know? Easier said than done!

Btw, why I terkehel one??

hmm..i know what you mean..but you can't help coming across this kind of people wherever you are. it's just embedded in human nature. you can't escape it.

the only thing you can do is just try to avoid crossing paths with them.

twisted heels - According to my limited knowledge of Malay, terkehel means twisted. Correct me if I'm wrong, or please suggest a better adjective! :)

mischique - Nah, as you said, it's human nature. There's just too many if we wanna avoid crossing paths :D

ji yuan - The jammer above has informed me. Thanks, but psst... I'm terrified of gatherings.

~shiawase~ - Nah, cursing is not in my dictionary. I feel it's just !@#$-ing rude to curse. Lol!

Yeah, a blogmeet. You wanna go? Maybe I'll consider going if you wanna...
