On A Dare
And so we were watching television, sipping on Coke, when my evil twin suggested a bet. He claimed that I won't be able to not update this blog for two days straight. I was stumped at his sudden remark, so I kept quiet and sipped on my Coke, thinking. Is it true that I have become so attached to this blog as a medium of self-gratification that I won't be able to live without it for two days?
Curiousity piqued the better of me, and had I have known better, I certainly didn't then. I put down my drink forcefully on the floor, unfolded my legs, pointed at him, and with an air of grandeur, proclaimed, "Evil twin, I accept your bet!"
I'll show him that I can live without blogging for two days. In fact, I'll top him and take it unto myself as a challenge, to do away with the time limit and see how long it takes until my the inner fibres of my being say, "I give up. I can take it no longer..." and with fingers shivering and weak, stumble onto the keyboard, to speak to the imagined community of the world with words that sound now so familiar...
"Hello, World!"
