Matters Not
I have always believed that wisdom is not proportional to age. Only ego is, for those who can't control it or are not aware.
My parents have this problem. Whatever wisdom me and my brother try to share with them are often thrown back at us and chided for being too young. This is a simple argument and very convenient -- for our biological ages can never be more than them.
I worry for them, and in my heart I harbour this deep disappointment. I hope that they'll learn to put aside their egos and for once -- just for once -- stop talking and learn to listen.
But as we're growing up so fast, I fear.
I fear that when they do, it won't matter anymore.

most parents are like that.
cant really change them too.
=)
Hmm? I commented but my comment went missing. I wonder did I accidentally close it. Sigh. The joy of exams.
Parents are sometimes like that. Don't think so much. Carry on :)
Asian parents are like that. Whatever they say, goes. Even though they're wrong...they won't admit it.
Sigh, so true hor. My parents once shouted at us when we try to prove them wrong. "I am your dad and what I say is always correct!" =.=" But lately okay already lah. Not so kolot already.
I think I know where you're getting at, but I'm not so sure. (It was your last line that threw me off.)
I miss talking to you, kinda. >< Sigh. The last time - sorry, I was watching a movie, that's why my replies were so abrupt. And I didn't really feel like sharing as well coz you were being quite introverted. =P *hugs*
My exams start tomorrow. =) Glad yours are over.
it's just hard to talk to parents. They eat more salt than we eat rice. So... the salt got their ego pickled.
i'm sailing by in a boat named Papamamadonotunderstand and there's room for more... think it might just fit all of us in...
