Lies, treachery, backstabbing
Of a pure heart
In full view
Of a crowd of people who purse their lips

Thankful it wasn't them
I'm no longer interested in talking to humans
I want to speak with the gods
For the gods are pure
But I can't do so
So the closest I can get to that
Is by talking to myself
For each, to ourselves, we are most pure
Where flaws, insecurities and errors of judgement
Are perfectly justified
By the same mind that bornt them
I'm tired of making sense of
Who did it
Why they did
and how
All I know is
I'm no longer happy

it's time for a change of view
I will sleep
and wake up tomorrow
No longer wondering
