Rapid Comes to Penang!

RapidKL has come to Penang!

This island, well known for the food, no doubt is also famous for its pray-hard-that-it-will-come buses and taxi drivers that will go on strike at the mere mention of 'meter'. (That's why you should always ask them, "Berapa jauh?" instead of "Berapa kilometer?")

Thursday (Aug 2) will be the third day of operations, and the final day of free service. After which, the following fares apply...

However, the big question is: Will Penang's transportation problem finally be solved?

As a man of Indian descent being interviewed on the news wisely said, "Give it three months and we'll see!"
