Totally Pointless

there's not much here in this world for us to do. and there are far too many people.
that's why we have so many people going through life without a purpose. that's why so many people live their lives, lost; forming their own lives on patronizing others, criticizing fellow beings like some sort of martyr, intruding into others' personal lives. i am tired of superficiality. that's why it's hard to coax depression out of somebody. for you yourself (i myself) don't know exactly what i'm here for.

cause seriously, what is there for us to do? who cares about leaving an impact in this totally impermanent, imperfect world? regardless of whether there exists a god-creator or we, somehow or other, "evolved" into existence, there is just no plausible explanation why we need to spend some time here, then by this relatively brief moment, be judged for eternity (christianity / islam) or be judged and reborned (buddhism / hinduism).
