Rihanna

I'm currently hooked on Rihanna's song Unfaithful. The piano accompaniment, with its simple and repetitive progression, gives a very soothing effect and for some reason gets my heart pumping fast. I love it!


I just heard it again on Fly FM on this US countdown segment (America's Top 40 hosted by Ryan Seacrest). When it comes to the part where Rihanna sings about killing her boyfriend whom is suffering due to her unfaithfulness: "I might as well take a gun and put it to his head", the word "gun" is surprisingly silenced.

"I might as well take a (inaudible) and put it to his head"

And I'm like what the (inaudible), how can the word "(inaudible)", by any stretch of any (inaudible)'s imagination, be offensive?! It's just a (inaudible), for (inaudible)'s sakes!

In fact, I think being unfaithful is much worse than having a (inaudible). Hey, enough already you (inaudible)!
