Peanut Butter
Argh! So many things, so little time! Seems like I'm now more passionate about what I'm passionate about that I'm more aggresive (spelling?) in searching them out and going all out in pursuing them.
So far, within these few weeks, I have signed up as a research assistant of an international study. And besides that campus organization which I've become quite attached to -- committed to, I also am thinking of auditioning for the choir team.
Now I must mention something about the choir team. In their search for male members, no that sounds wrong, male singers, and males only -- one would imagine there'd be more than enough female singers in the team already -- what better way to get the message through to your target audience than to post the notice... on the restroom mirrors!
Yes, I don't seem to see their notice anywhere else, except on the mirrors of the selected restrooms. Note to self, this is smart advertizing -- going straight to the target audience, and very effective too, I would think! Note to self, publicize upcoming events in restrooms.
Anyway, back to the second paragraph, now pursuing and getting what I'm passionate for is not so much of a problem, but with the exams looming and the tests in progress, I can't help but feel unable to overachieve, as I always aim to.
Hence, I'm forced to draw priorities and allocate a limited time to each aspect of each responsibility -- and I can't help feeling as if I'm spreading myself too thin. I guess it'd be better if I concentrate more fully on what matters most -- my education. But it's undeniable that everything constitutes an education.
I don't want to graduate just another graduate.
I need to shine.

good luck in your exams!
ps: restroom publicity is ze most effective, i must say! been there, done that! =D
Ahem. How would you know if they didn't post any in the girls' restroom? Did you go in and have a look? =P
Yea I know. When exam looms we'll get all sorts of ideas on what to do that is not related to exams.
Hi! Ya many things to be done in such a short time. Well 'don't wanna to graduate just another graduate' so like photolithograpy process lor...add a lot of responsibilities, wash and etch them after they have completed, graduate and come out with brand new IC! muahaha.. hey, ur blog read by lecturer...means ada 'standard' la. Keep it up. Next year publish ur final year project here if that lecturer is ur supervisor. =p
nalini - Ah, you've done that! Imagine if everyone did that, there'll be not much of the mirror left to look at. Lol! Thanks for the wishes :)
~shiawase~ - Have a look at what? :P
eileen - Putting your Photonics knowledge to good use, I see ;)
what happens after you shine/graduate?
you'll get a regular job, and that's it.
same wan lah, i rather use the remaining years in uni to really enjoy my life, before i'm chained to a bloody cubicle in some office.
wan yean - Exactly. So before we're chained to that "bloody cubicle", now's the time to shine! :)
no, i think the term 'chained to a bloody cubicle' sounds wrong - you should always approach something positively. whether you are chained to the damn cubicle or not depends on how you deal with it! :)
kablooi - Reminds me of some people who are overjoyed to stay in prison... Of course, their mental health is out of the question xD
