Readers, jammers, friends:

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, I feel so loved today and I hope I have replied to each of you personally, be it phone, IM or friendster -- cause it's more meaningful to reply to people personally rather than doing a blanket acknowledgement -- then why am I doing this? Hmm... at 22, still a bundle of contradictions and contraindications. And proud of it.

Have been extremely busy at work today as my supervisor took the opportunity to introduce a new project and with minimal explanations, am supposed to plan out a materials reliability test. Saying anymore would be revealing proprietary information and get me out of the great corporation before you can say, "You're on fire!"

And for those of you in KL, I'll be heading there tomorrow morning (until Sunday evening) for some sightseeing with my family. It's very brief but it's a small world, so who knows I might bump into someone I know? If I do meet you or you do me, just say the password "Karljam" and I'll treat you to the nearest starbucks. *wink wink*

And oh yeah, thanks to all your comments to me and Beve's baby, Closed. It's a great satisfaction for a singer-songwriter like me to receive reviews -- good or bad -- from fans, friends and readers. You rock! Jam on! And since I post these songs up for free, your words and encouragement are what keep me going. So thank you all. I could not ask for more.

You know sometimes when I wake up in the morning and drag myself around in seeming heaviness, seeing a new comment in my blog really lifts my spirits. And I'm grateful for that. You should know how much you mean to me. Singing online has become a milestone for me, since my very first song that I emailed -- in .wav format, no less! -- to everyone on my contact list and annoyed the heck out of everyone with dial-ups and small mailboxes. Heck, in those times, everyone had dial-ups and small mailboxes.
