What! No more indelible ink?

Just like a Chipsmore cookie:

I'm disappointed that the EC has canceled the use of indelible ink in this Saturday's General Elections. Just imagine the possibilities! For one, I could use that mark to tease my politically apathetic friends who don't bother to vote.

Just think about it: With the majority of the voting-age Malaysians having that distinct line on their left pointers, it's sure to become an 'in' thing. Then, all those people without the markings would succumb to peer pressure, and be forced to artificially draw on their pointers just to stay cool.

On another note, I can't seem to understand the EC's justification of canceling the use of indelible ink:

What public disorder and/or security threats will come from the indelible ink?

Oh, could this be the start of the reinvention?

i've written about the SPR's reason for the cancellation.

But there's always more to the nation's problems that meets the eye.

Come on browse over and you will know that voting SiPM is the only way to go! :)

Maybe they think they can make us protest and refuse to vote so that all their hantus voted and let them win. But no, this make us pissed and we still have four days to influence people not to vote for cheaters who used RM2.4 million to fool us.

dek mat - Ok, will check it out later.

5xmom - The indelible ink was a 'cool' factor for me. Now without the ink, I don't think I wanna vote anymore... (Yeah right :P)

BN is just too cowardly to take on the opposition without underhanded tactics like ghost voters. who did you think lobbied for the withdrawal of the usage of indelible ink? UMNO, that's who.

beve - Due to popular demand, the bird in the bush post is resurrected from the dead (sigh).

thomasting - Probably, but can we blame them for feeling insecure this time around? ;)

sien la, 2.4 million RM pour into my pocket better than pour into the drain, but then again, who'se to say the 2.4 million is not pouring into someone elses pocket....bloody corrupt buggers.

With power comes corruption
With absolute power, comes absolute corruption.

... Time to change.

Dirty politics. Kiasuism. Corruption.

dcyk - Let's hope the person who pocketed the money drink the ink!

runawaycat - Your first two words are redundant, actually.
