So today we went to several temples around Penang to offer incense to the deities. This has become one of my family's tradition, which is to devote one day of the Lunar New Year going to as many temples as possible around the island.

On reaching this temple near Sunshine Jelutong, we found it newly renovated and...

Dad: Locked!
Mum:
They've to lock the temples nowadays. Else people will steal the brass urns and sell them off for a lot of cash.
Me: How come the Gods don't do anything to them; like for example, zap them with lightning? *wink*
Lil' bro: They say "God helps those who help themselves", right? Those people are merely "helping themselves" what!
