Stopping Stalker (and other stories)

Stopping Stalker

One caller to RED FM today related about how her ex-boyfriend stalked her.

"He would be seen waiting in his car, outside my house, at various times of the day," she complains. So, she called her best friend -- a girl -- for help, and both of them walked out of her house, pretending they were lovers.

"Unfortunately," the caller sighed, "he seemed to be even more interested after that!"

Library, the Sahara

There is a funny rule in our campus library that water containers are not allowed to be brought into the place. This morning though, I 'smuggled' my water bottle in, in my laptop backpack.

While going out, the lady-guard checked my bag and as soon as she saw the bottle, said "Tu, tu, tu!" (literal translation "That, that, that!"). "Botol tak boleh bawa masuk (you can't bring in the bottle)," she said.

"It's empty!" I cheekily retorted, and added, "Tak boleh minum air ke? (Can't I drink water?)" and she replied, "Bukan tak boleh minum. Takut tumpah. (Not that you can't, but scared it might spill.)"

Well, I doubt that the occasionally clumsy person warrants banning water containers altogether from the library, but what's funnier, there is a water cooler located in the far interior of the library. Now, how would a person drink from this cooler without a container?

Hi, On Library, the Sahara: I experienced ur water bottle thingy b4..I told the guard "Boleh tak saya isi botol saya kemudian letak di luar? Sangat dahaga". (no RO refill machine at DK yet last time). The guard let me refill my bottle, drink outside and re-enter.They really are afraid of ppl who 'drinks while reading' :p

I wonder how many books got drenched before the ruling?

Anyway, I just think it's weird that one could bring their whole bag in (if you call it your 'laptop bag' you can!) and leave just the water bottle outside :/
